We deliver a generous plant-based meal for 2 or 4 diners, monthly (every 28 days) or fortnightly (every 14 days,) straight to your door, choose the frequency at check-out.

How is Dishidrop environment-focused?

Dinners come in reusable stainless-steel containers and left on your doorstep, ready to go straight in your oven. Having a Dishidrop greatly reduces food waste, removes plastics and single-use products from the takeaway experience and with a seasonal plant-based menu, a reduced carbon footprint. Lastly, all of our deliveries are undertaken in fully electric vehicles, powered by renewable energy company, Octopus Energy.

How much does a Dishidrop cost?

Two hungry people will be fed for £32 and four people for £60.

What comes in a Dishidrop?

The standard Dishidrop will include rice, 2 mains, a fresh vibrant slaw or salad, and an extra treat wrapped in recycled aluminium foil, alternatives menus do occur.

Is there a menu to choose from?

No, leave all the thinking to us. The menu will be carefully designed to ensure diners will feel satisfied and nourished. We love vegetables, so seasonal produce will feature, and each menu will be inspired by a single Asian cuisine. We will send you the menu before your subscription renews with the option to skip to the next menu.

How spicy will the meal be?

Spiciness is one of those subjective things, but our aim will be to provide 1 medium spicy main and 1 mild main in each drop. If you have specific chili preferences, please email info@dishidrop.com to discuss.

What about allergens?

We cater for gluten-free allergy sufferers and some other allergens can be omitted from our menus. Please contact us at info@dishidrop.com before signing up to confirm we can cater for you. The following allergens cannot be accommodated: tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, vinegar, mushrooms and soy. Please note, if you have an aversion to mushrooms, we can accommodate this, just not an allergy.

What are the reheat instructions?

Each week, a menu’s specific reheat instructions are emailed to you on the day of the delivery. Below is a sample of the typical process.

The oven is the easiest for reheating Dishidrop. Preheat the oven to 160-180 degrees. Open the top container and take out the folded grease proof paper. Unfold and layout on a baking tray. Place the top 3 containers on the baking tray, add a teaspoon of water to the rice and place the lid on the container, heat until piping hot, about 30 minutes. The last container holds the slaw/salad, which doesn’t need reheating. If you prefer to microwave, please decant the food into microwavable containers and heat until piping hot, about 2-3 minutes per container. Stove top heating is also possible, you may reheat in the metal containers or decant into pans and heat until piping hot.  Please note, the metal containers will get very hot, so please be careful!

The greaseproof paper is certified home compostable.

Do I purchase the reusable stainless-steel containers?

Yes, the first time you sign up for Dishidrop, you’ll purchase the stainless-steel tiffins for £10.50, if you need two tiffins, the price is £21. These will be yours to keep.
